1. Healing: When you have nutrient deficiencies, consider this…
“Malnutrition is prevalent in modern society even though we consume an abundance of food, a variety of food, fortified food & supplements. Our soils are supplemented, our plants are supplemented, our animals are supplemented, & we are supplemented yet we may still be deficient”.

10 Causes of Nutrient Deficiencies
Eating Enough?
There are numerous reasons why you might not be eating enough. Common causes include eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, which severely limit both the variety and quantity of food consumed, leading to significant nutrient deficiencies. Additionally, many individuals may struggle to afford good-quality food or live in areas where fresh produce is not readily available. Popular dieting practices and the trend of skipping meals to lose weight quickly can also result in insufficient nutrient intake. While intermittent fasting has benefits for some, it can sometimes lead to prolonged periods without adequate nourishment. Furthermore, a lack of post-exercise replenishment deprives the body of essential nutrients needed for recovery. Everyday factors such as stress-induced loss of appetite, nausea from liver and gall issues, and pain after eating due to acid reflux also contribute significantly to poor dietary intake, increasing the risk of deficiencies.
The impact of not eating enough nutrient-dense foods is profound. Essential vitamins and minerals, crucial for various bodily functions, become deficient, leading to a cascade of health issues. For instance, inadequate iron intake can result in anaemia, while insufficient calcium can weaken bones.
Consuming nutrient-dense foods, particularly those sourced from rich, healthy soil, is vital for maintaining optimal health. These foods provide the necessary nutrients in their most bioavailable forms, ensuring that the body can absorb and utilise them effectively. Therefore, it is essential to focus on a balanced diet that includes a variety of whole, nutrient-rich foods to prevent deficiencies and support overall well-being.
